Hey folks!

As you may know due to chatwee issues chat has had to be cancelled.

So i have a made a discussion that we can all use to help each other and get support.

    I feel scared to go to school tomorrow.  :'( Been getting bullied again. I was really close to walking out of school and going home earlier.

    It is really hard for me. The teachers don't even really care anymore. Might as well sometimes just bunk off and hide in the SEN unit

    Ah hey eleanor!

    I have had email counselling and i call and message the college counsellor over the phone now due to the lockdown :)

    At times like these Kasa its important to do things for our own health and if nothing is being done and you need a break i would suggest to take time away somewhere x

    @Past User Does doing it over the phone differ much from doing it in person?- I'm doing mine over call tomorrow morning but it's the first time I've done that, usually we do it in person

    i found it a bit weird at first as i was used to seeing her face but its not so bad i much prefer it to not having any at all its still very helpful and easier than i thought, talking on the phone can be a struggle but after the first one or two i got the swing of it :)

    I am assuming as you still go to school its because you couldn't stay at home?
    is there no way you could use it as a safe space? go to an area that nobody is in and chill?

    Ahh okay, I feel like it will be easier to talk to her over the phone but I also think it could be harder because she reads a lot of my body language and whether I'm making eye contact or not to know if something is challenging to talk about

    @Aidan, Yeah I'll think she'll know by the tone of my voice, I've been seeing her for over a year so she knows me well! I haven't had a phone session yet, the first one is tomorrow morning

    Ah its good that you've been seeing her for a while Eleanor you two should know each other pretty well i think it will go pretty go just give it time you should get the hang of it :)

    Thank you. Yes that is why I still go to school. I count as vulnerable  (on the autistic spectrum) and my mum is a key worker  (she cannot work from home.) My dad can't work from home either.

    I can't use the SEN unit as a safe space because all the classrooms are either locked or the teacher is not letting people in. I only either go for lessons or at lunchtime.
