    Thank you all. You made my day better, I really appreciate it :)

    It hasn't been too bad so far given how low things have been. I went biking with my dad in the end. My gran made me a cake and she, my dad and my mom all sang me Happy Birthday. I just wish I was able to enjoy myself but at least it hasn't been spent crying.

    And something to make you laugh: my mom bought me two helium balloons and I went outside with them, when we noticed one went missing. I looked up at the mountains and there it was floating away :joy:

    That's actually quite impressive! I guess as long as it's in something sturdy it's probably okay. My mum tried to post flapjacks and Flumps once and the mailman lobbed them over the fence, the package split and insects got inside and had a field day. It was pretty grim...

    The pressure to enjoy your birthday can be pretty sucky @Past User, so I can empathise with the frustration around not being able to do that. Know that it's not your fault if you feel like you can't live up to expectations. They're very arbitrary anyway... birthdays are just another day. :)

    This was really amusing for some reason. Just the image of the mailman lobbing them over the fence ;)

    Yeah, I was thinking that - your birthday is only any ordinary day when you think of it. It just sucks when you never feel the pleasure in things even though you want to. But now I'm 15 I've decided I'm going to make a move on with my life. I'm going to try therapy or medication to try and get the enthusiasm back :)
