I understand that you are worried about your anxiety attacks, and you feel that this impacts on your relationships and time spent with friends.

Do you have any particular triggers for your anxiety? Spending time working out what triggers, or makes your anxiety worse, could possibly help you in figuring out coping strategies and ways to see your friends.

The NHS has some tips regarding social anxiety. It might be worth having a read through that and seeing if anything can help.

Hey 😊 sorry to hear your anxiety is getting in the way of seeing your friends .. have you considered talking to your friends or gp about this? If your friends know about the problem they may be able to help ground you when you feel an attack coming on.
The link Jordan has left sounds really helpful, so take a read of that aswell..
Hope things start to improve soon!  <3

    Hey there 😊

Anxiety can be so horrible sometimes so I understand how you are feeling with that, especially when it stops you from socialising and going out 💗

I think that being scared of an anxiety attack is quite natural, as that in itself can be unpleasant to go through 💓

Have you found any distractions or breathing techniques that work for you? 😊

    Hey,

Sorry to hear that - I know that anxiety can really ruin a night out with friends, so can understand that completely! Is there anything that triggers your anxiety in particular? And when an anxiety attack hits, have you found anything that helps you to manage it?x

    Much love <3

Anxiety can feel awful. I hear that and you're definelty not alone with those feelings.

What i think is really important that can help is letting your friends know how you're feeling / letting them know you fear of anxiety attack. Sometimes people knowing can ease the anxiety and fear more. But that also not something that's nessarly to do.

Have you tried self help stuff for your anxiety ?

well done for going out when you still felt anxious - that take a lot. Sometimes it's good to go beyond our comfort zone and sometimes it's good to know when it's not helping - so you did well to leave that situation and taking care of yourself. I hear it can still feel frustating, sometimes it's the small steps and becoming more self aware and leaning that can really help. Which can take time.

    Wishing you all the best!
“And when they look at you, they won't see everything you've been through. They won't see the **** that turned to scars that began to fade with time. They won't see the heartbreaking things that shook up and changed your entire world. They won't know how many tears you cried or even what it was you were crying about. They won't see how strong you had to be because you had no other choice. What they will see though is how compassionate you are because you experienced pain. What they will see is how kind you are because you experienced how cruel the world is. What they will see is how good you are because you've seen how bad things or people can be. The difference between you and your experiences are who you choose to be, despite everything that could have turned you cold and unkind. You are the good the world needs and the best of us.” ~ Kirsten Corley

@ShaunieIm not really sure about how to help myself. i tried running and going on walks but they only help temporarily. i would usually have a warm shower which can help but other than that it doesnt really help me in the long run. It all started with a stupid fear of having a heart attack (which isnt likely as im 21 and ive has tests and im healthy).
