Friends with benefits

Having a 'friend with benefits' suits some people perfectly, but can it work for you?

Hi @RoseUpshur
Friends with benefits works best when both people decide they want no strings attached sex, and nothing more (e.g. no romantic relationship). You are right though that sometimes when people have different expectations and haven’t communicated these feelings properly, it can lead to hoping for one thing and ending up with something different, and this can sometimes lead to disappointment.
