im Brooke and i deal with depression i have so much help and so many counsellours that it is crazyt. it doesnt work. im lonely and need someone to talk too. i get bullied and self-harm. i have tried to kill myself. i have been to the hospital about it too.

    Welcome to the boards, it's lovely to have you here. I'm Aife one of the moderators so you'll see me around from time to time. 

    You've done a really positive thing coming here to talk about everything that's been going on. It sounds like you're going through a really tough time at the moment. I'm sorry to hear that you're not finding the support helpful from your counsellors. Can you tell us a bit more about why this support isn't helpful and what support you would find helpful? 

    You mentioned that you've tried to take your own life before. It sounds like things have been really overwhelming for you. Are you still having thoughts about ending your life? 

    We're all here to listen and support you, stay strong Brooke :)

    Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤

    im so sorry things are really difficult and all seem hopeless Im glad youre still trying new support by signing up to here!. Many lovely people on here so  Hope you find some support here. And we’ll be listening if you want to share more about how you feel and whats going on.
