It's funny, he nearly bored you into sleeping properly, or so you said, and he's responsible for my now-wonderful sleep schedule too. He started being an old man and going to bed early, which means he now doesn't keep me up late. Then for a week or so he was calling me at about 8:30 in the morning every day and now I'm totally happy to be up at that time. I feel fantastic.
wouldnt work with me. Of course it would work with some, but those sort of games make me feel first insecure, then angry, then disinterested. In quite a short space of time. Someone doesnt make me feel wanted, consistently, then i lose interest.
I don't mind a little bit of (playful!) being a dick every now and then, keeps me amused and what not, but if someone was acting off with me on a regular basis I'd just start getting convinced that they hated me.
Exactly, it's by offending narcissism that these games can work so well...
Acting off with someone isn't playing it properly, that's just a silly attempt at schoolyard mind-games.
