I wish I was interested in iron water filters or iron in my water or iron supplements, but I can't get the right key words to find out if you need water in your iron. I'm having an argument about it. I say you only need water when you want to use the steam function but he says you always need to put water in it, even if you are not using the steam function.

Use distilled water however, or you are ruining your iron.
"Don't make grilled cheese sandwiches with your iron, or iron your hair - it gets the iron dirty."
And no worries, I would never waste my time ironing clothes or anything... just this dumb crafty project... can't remember the last time I've used an iron anyhow. If a spin through the dryer can't take out the wrinkles then the wrinkles were just ment to be.
The others are right, you only need water if you're using the steam bit. Old irons never even had a place for water!
You are a god.
And you are a goddess.
Wait, didn't I offer to do your ironing already?
