its very exciting.
Just watch the 5 series of the actual show. The movies that reference events in the series are full of spoilers, the others are just filler. Some are quite good but at it's heart it's the 5 original series of the show that matters.
I House

Is the fifth series worth watching? I still have the first two VHS tapes(!) of series 5, unwatched. I enjoyed the first four series, but when he rushed to finsh the story in the second half of the fourth series, it kind've spoiled that, and left me with no interest for the rest.
"Are you on your period or something miss?"
Love it. I understand that you guys find it funny, but I find it that much more funny growing up in a mostly Pacific Island school
Yeah, the first half or maybe first two-thirds are a huge step back - clearly JMS didn't have a lot of direction and ends up rehashing old plots. However the final four or five episodes deal with the fate of a lot of the characters and are fantastic and epic. The fate of Mollari is overwhelming and resolves a lot of the plot threads from early seasons.
It's worth it for them - check out the reviews on tv.com and you should be able to see when the episodes worth watching kick in.
And big up for BSG - Jo7 is just watching it for the first time and I'm damn jealous, I'd love to be able to be taken on such a wonderful, surprising ride again without knowing what's coming.
