  Well, it's been my thinking all along that many people are blowing this recession business out of proportion in order to justify x y and z opinions about labour / communists / banks / neocons / you name it, so it's heartening to see there may be signs of recovery. Also reassuring, because this is when I predicted the recession would end back for one of my Management projects a few months ago .
  
  Perhaps they will give me a few extra marks for prescience.

  That's just a revision for Q2, whether we see growth in Q3 is the thing.
  
  I said on my little project thing (and bear in mind its undergrad so its mostly bs depending on what sources you used!) I predicted the 'tipping point' i.e. the rate of change of the growth / shrink rate would be this year with the contractions getting smaller towards the end. A positive figure would be wonderful but could well be just a W shape thing as SG said. I wasn't really that in depth and critical though.
