I've decided to have a BBQ this weekend (weather permitting) using a few of those disposable ones. What kind of food should I use?
I've thought of:
Burgers
Sausages
Chops
Any suggestions as to what else could I cook?
Cheers :thumb:

Kebabs
Ribs
Def make your own burgers
although they may not quite be in season yet...
You've gone wrong right from the start really!
Ooo, yeah Remember to partially cook them first...
Sardines & Tuna Steaks are great on the BBQ also.
go_away - I'm really intrigued about that! There's a shop closeby too! Are they expensive? JamesZero - I can't really afford a proper one and at any rate, we'll all be pissed so I doubt we should be messing around with a canister of gas and a naked flame!
They're lovely
Bananas bbq-d in their skins for afters, split down the middle and stuffed with chocolate buttons was lways a favourite when I was a younger person than I am now.

£7.99p
Gas barbecues are shit, you might as well just grill your food.
Fresh pineapple seared on each side is nice with sausages/pork chops, and they're on offer in Tesco at the moment, just £1.
I don't know I'm afraid, the man always prepares the meat and fire! I don't think it's too expensive. Whatever the cost, it's so worth it, and it comes rolled up (like a snail shape) so you can just stick it whole on the bbq.
You should stick with things that just need high heat and a quick cook, so either thin breasts of chicken which is marinaded or beef.
Jacket potato
Banana
pork
My sausages always cook fine on disposable BBQ's, but then again, I am the queen of BBQ cooking
Get some kebabs on there.. and steak.. and have some sides too of savoury rice, potato salad etc and you'll be well away!
Vegetable kebabs
Hallumi cheese on vegetable kebabs
Corn-on-the-cob
Jacket potatoes
Bean burgers (wrap in foil if there are likely to fall apart), vegetable 'burgers'
Amira - I'd love the recipe!
Everyone else - cheers
