last meal on earth

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
lets just say, for some bizarre and twisted reason (not to be morbid) but you were on death row and you could have whatever meal you wanted as your last meal ..

what would yours be ?

depending on my mood i'd probably say my nan's roast OR an indian OR a takeaway OR pasta

Either macaroni cheese or my mum's spaghetti bolognaise with garlic bread. Shame I couldn't be a bit classier and wish for something like caviar. *sigh*

Probably loads of chinese goodness. Or my Mums roast beef dinner.

I remember reading on a website a list of meals people on Death Row had requested, some of them must've had chronic indegestion while they were dying.

    Edit - Found the webby - http://www.thememoryhole.org/deaths/texas-final-meals.htm

I'd pick Spaghetti Bolognese (made with dolmio :yum: ) and rhubarb crumble and custard for pudding :D

In reality though, I probably wouldn't actually be able to eat anything, knowing it was my last meal :p

    A nice curry.

If it was my last meal on earth then I'd hopefully be a bit busy being dead pretty soon after so I wouldn't have to put up with the aftermath down the toilet the next day :thumb:

Well I haven't had it yet, but I am liking the look of Smoked haddock and spinach gratin that I am making for tea tomorrow.

So on the assumption it tastes as good as it looks I would have that :yum:

You're having it tomorrow and you've started making it already? There's nowt like preparing in advance!

I would have to say Aloo Gobi vindaloo with plain rice, vegetable pakoras, onion bhajis, garlic and coriander naan, poppadoms, mango chutney and lime pickle. That'd see me nicely off to the other side :yum:
