    Thanks dear :heart: Yeah it was a bit of a sensitivity-gap. It was hard to be angry about it because the overwhelming sense was of relief (once I found out she'd just been moved elsewhere) but I did manage a bit of indignation. Not the place for a shouty-shouty fit of rage though, 'course :)

    Astrid is gaining weight right on schedule, as she's supposed to -- if not, ahead of. She's doing brilliantly, she looks like a "normal" baby as far as I'm concerned now. Just wee-er. Or smaller, to put it in correct English. Her hair gets lighter everyday which is just adorable, I think she's going to be a blondie like her mammy... and daddy, for that matter. Not one for the photos though.

    Silvia has her spinal surgery tomorrow at midday - all being well - so we're all on absolute tenterhooks... but hopefully it will go well and she will stay good and strong. If all goes well then I should get to have my first cuddle afterwards, and then I might allow daddy to have cuddle too. I can't wait, I really can't. Fingers and toes crossed :)

    Thank you everyone for your lovely thoughts and best wishes. It means a lot :)

    Silvia's surgery went quite well though she is still quite poorly and groggy as a result, understandably really. It's just good that it's over and done with though as it was something of a dark cloud hanging over us all.
