How did it get to court?

How did the case of a drunk tenant (who fell and injured herself) dancing on a garage roof that doesnt belong to her landlord get to court?

Very soon, tenants will be suing their landlords for not warning them about food poison from the dodgy kebab shop next door

Is there anyone with common sense in the CPS (Crime Prosecution Service)?

Its ridiculous!

Talk about stupid. Isn't it pretty obvious what may happen? Oh wait, there are some people in this country who will sue for anything because it's everyone else's fault...

It was the young injured woman that took legal action and tried to sue...Nothing to do with the CPS.

I actually can't quite believe what I have read, I think it is awful that she persued this case and inflicted worry on to others for her own mistakes. I agree this should never have reached court, talk about waste of time!

Does there need to be some sort of sticker on roofs, doors etc now warning of stuff like this?

It's her landlord, not her mother, for goodness sake... I suppose next people will want to be told not to stick their fingers in the electrical sockets.

Can't this be considered a form of perverting the course of justice? She is, after all, exploiting the judicial system to settle a petty (and very idiotic) complaint.
