That was the first thought that came into my head too :chin:
Not something I imagine being available on the meat counter in Sainsbury's. "'scuse me mate, a leg of South African Zebra please."
I was watching this program the other day and apparently you can get tinned lamb's tounges!
Lets not forget all the other jars/bags of obscure animal stuff you can get in those Chinese Herbal/Medicinal shops in random locations too.
Are there non stripy zebras?! *prepares to feel stupid*
Unless meat is served with skin on, I wouldn't know being a veggie
Ha, OK so I assumed they left the skin on
Although stripy meat could be quite cool...yet weird at the same time...
And I say ZEB - ruh.
Ugh, yeh they get given those on Shipwrecked :hyper:
ETA: Zeb-ra, innit. It's so annoying when people say Zeeeebra, they're the same folk that say zee and not zed.
I was watching it in bed! Nothing else was on telly!
Oh I love Shipwrecked. :hyper:
Alas it makes me rather jealous..
At a Mongolian restaurant
They had venison, wild boar, ostrich, springbok, zebra, kangaroo, and shark.
That would make sense. The only thing I've tried on that list is Wild Boar, which is nice but a bit fatty for my liking. I might have had venison at some point as well, but cant really remember.
Where was said restaurant? /curious
Down at the shore in Leith. Just around the corner from the Cameo Bar.
It's called the Khubla Khan.
