What songs do you go mental for when your on pills?
I know it might be hard, i.e. you pretty much go mad for anything that comes on, BUT, I always got a few that turn my bottom lip in Joy! It would be good to find some the other songs you guys listen to, so I can give em a shot myself.
Dance with me all night - Wigan Pier
Through Your Eyes - Giuseppe Ottaviani
No Matter What - Nu Electric
No One Knows - Pendulum
What else is there - Royksopp
Kick your legs - Dougal
Rave Heaven - Dave McCullen
Gigi. etc.

Also like gabba/industrial hardcore aswell, especially when in a club because the kick/bass goes right through you.
Also check out Drifting Away on this geezers myspace, one of my favourite trance tunes and it's perfect for when you're in the midst of coming up
Oh, and if you can get hold of a copy John B - Mercury Skies is another quality one. Its like a fusion of trance and D&B but sounds surprisingly good.

Pfft yeah and try some electro? Probably the most boring, soul-less music around.
In Complete Darkness, 95 Style, Rushin On Pink Champagne, High On Life etc
or a bit of jungle...
Junglist (Congo Natty), 31 Seconds, Champion Sound, Arsonist etc etc
drum n bass, hard house n hard style are also brilliant, as is a lot of (good) trance
like pill ed i find electro etc doesnt do much for me.. its good in small doses but it doesnt seem to have as much 'energy' about it :hyper:
I guess you never heard any electro then.
Its got da funk, which last time I checked, is a fairly important requisite for dancing (as opposed to standing on the spot and doing that silly flappy hand thing you trancemonkeys do).
Okay, so the title Electro Breakdance may be a bit misleading but "Predominantly classic hip-hop from back in the day" doesn't quite have the same ring to it. - Hmm.. you don't say. Guess you've never heard any electro either if that's the case.
Skive - Have seen Scorpio & Producer out a couple of times, they're both shit hot although I usually can't last a whole set up dancing haha.
I only stuck that image up cos I was too lazy to look for this one
However, as anyone alive in the 80's will tell you, hip hop and electro were not that different back then. Have a listen to Afrika Bamabaata sometime.
Reet let's be having yer..
The Presets - I Go Hard, I Go Home
Soulwax - E Talking
Felix Da Housecat - Silver Screen Shower Scene
SebastiAn - Ross Ross Ross
Tiga - Three Weeks J
CSS - Let's Make Love And Listen Death From Above
The Fratellis - Creepin' Up The Backstairs
Underworld - Born Slippy - why the fuck would you NOT want to dance to this out your tree?!
Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus
The Gossip - Standing In The Way Of Control
Glasvegas - Go Square Go
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I can't wait to get absolutely chonged on Thursday.
Afrika Bambaata are awsome.
However for me personally when I'm on Ecstasy, it has got to be Hardocore or Drum & Bass, maybe a bit of Trance.
Afrika Bambaata is awsome. There is only one of him.
Old skool (early 90's) hardcore is OK. Some drum'n'bass is OK (although really fast industrial stuff is dull), trance however makes me want to kill people. I don't get how people can possibly dance to it, its lumpen, funkless, sexless shite.
Hardstyle
Jumpstyle
Bouncy hard house
Really hard trance (no fluffy shit)
Handbag house
Really funky house
i also think alot of these artists are great for listening to whilst on pills: massive attack, daft punk, kraftwerk, fischerspooner, royksopp, aphex twin, and pink floyd amongst others!
Good tunes to it though.
Good hardstyle and gabber is class to just bounce along to aswell. Never seen the appeal of rock music on pills though, just not happening.
But it has to be Experience, or Jilted Generation. When they were still hardcore.
I second that,
except for that one random time I mentioned earlier when I had a craving to listen to some Black Metal. I think it was the double bass drumming and the whole darkness of it, just sounded so sic at the time.
But yeah usually rock music is a no no on pills.
You're kidding, right? Unless you count shitty pre-set synth stabs as "tunes".
Naaah, that's funkless shite too.
Although I do have a soft spot for mid 90's acid tekno (SUF, Smitten, Routemaster, X Trax etc).
