I don't think I've got anything of sentimental value.

My dad bought me a glass, a few days after he died it fell over in the middle of the night (on the floor with nobody around) and shattered (even though it landed on carpet, and just toppled over. I might've saved that. I kept the glass pieces for a while but my mum chucked them out when she tidied my room.

    Nah.. nothing sentimental.

If my boyfriend did not accept my Bear, he would not be my boyfriend for long :o.

I forgot him when I stayed at boy's house ;(, but boy let me use his bear as a substitute :D.

My bear, or my laptop (because it's far more practical to grab that than to grab 200+ CD's...).

you do realise that i meant Discworld books (as in Terry Pratchett) and not CDs yeah?

    I know that.

But my music is like, major part of me, and I'd want all of it. And I have over 200 CD's :p.

Damn, I didn't think of my signed Discworld book. *sneaks it into the box of sentimental stuff... just in case*

My handbag, first of all, so that covers my phone, purse, ipod and keys. Like everyone else, I have lots of letters and other sentimental stuff that I've kept. Photo albums, and CDs with photos on. Also a few books, which are special... ones I've had since I was a baby. I should really make lists of books/dvds/cds that I've got, so I could replace them if anything happened :nervous:

I doubt I'd have the time to disconnect all cables from my PC's tower and take it (not to mention that it would be too heavy) and I surely wouldn't have time to open it up and just take the hard drive, so I'd be forced to let go of my computer.
Instead, I'd just take an old sleeveless jacket I have, which has 14 pockets, all of them filled with items of memories from what was possibly the happies era of my life...

My HDD is easy - case side off with the catch, and the whole drive ba just clips out with one lever! :D

Well, my case isn't that new. I'd have to unscrew the side, pull out the s-ata (which is easy) and power (which is difficult) cables, then unscrew all 4 screws that keep the drive in place and pull it out.

Aah. Damn! I hate those screws and the power cables... they just result in my knuckles bleeding. :(

This is why you need to invest in antec produts.

The antec solo doesn't even attatch the drives, they're suspended by elastic bands. True story.

Hmm, I'm not sure I would save anything else if everyone was out and safe. If I had one thing to choose though it would be photographs. Most of mine are on the computer though..
