Hi guys
I know it's still a while away, but I thought I'd start a thread for A-level results, giving you all the resources here on TheSite to help you onto your next step, whether the results are good or bad.
First of all, we've done a podcast about A-level results and your next step here:
Podcast
We've also got an article about coping with low results and one about better results than expected - which can be equally as confusing as lower than expected ones!
If you're stressed waiting for your results, check out the exam result stress article here.
As gap years are such a popular choice after a-levels, thought I'd also post up our gap year section.
Finally, do use this thread to discuss your results, worries, excitement, plans etc etc...
Best of luck to everyone waiting for results!

Good luck people!
For example, maths at York: AAB usually, now gone to BBC. Warwick are a bit more elitist but if my calculations are correct then they should have more places than applicants - and being an A grade math student I'm in pole position. We'll have to see in the morning though, good luck everyone!
Shall we post our results on this thread or make a new one so all you nosey people can see how we did?
If you get what you want - congratulations! If you don't, there's no need to panic. Even if you don't get in your first choice, you'll have a great time being a student wherever you end up - I should know ;-)
Btw, for anyone panicking about student money I found this special section on Sun Online. Time to start budgeting!
