Where does the law stand on someone who is caught dealing, but it turns out to be fake, for want of a better example, caught selling say coke to someone but it's actually sugar.
Just something I've always wondered, can you be done for 'intent to supply' or something like that?

in this case, the accused was a 'mule' for harmless vegetable leaves but believed them to be heroin. He was convicted of attempting to supply class A drugs.
