I don't think it's indo european so no.
Romany people originated in India I think.
Words like Cushti, Mush, Chavy and Charver are Romany words.
Studied Chinese Mandarin in school to but i know nothing of it now.
I can understand a very little bit of Welsh, but thats only really through road signs!!!
I can speak english (Baaaadly :P) and I'm learning Spanish. I can also tell you I'm a window in german, and count to ten and tell you that there's a spider in the oven in Indonesian.
Next I want to try my hand at Irish, and Romansch

Haha - i can do the alphabet and say Smooth, Butter, Bread, Girl, Boy, Thankyou, I remember you and I love you. But not much else.

Yeah - You have to spell them.. as far as i know.
Yeah i think so. I asked someone who knows a bit more than me - it's called finger spelling and is only used for People and Place names

Aber ich habe viele vergessen.
I wish I had the time to learn some more. I really need to brush up on German too.
