I am fluent in Norweigan therefore I can understand most of the North Germanic languages (Icelandic, Swedish and Danish etc). I can get by in Germany with my limited knowledge of the language and some Gaelic/Scots. French though stumps me. Even after 6 years of studying it, I am still none the wiser.

Meh, the Cyrilliñ script isn't that hard at all. It only takes about a week to get used to. Then the fun really starts...

Yea, the same with the majority of the Asian languages - Urdu, Chinese (mandarin etc) Korean and other languages. At the moment, I won't learn any of them, but I really want to give them a serious try in the future.

Fluently, Greek and English. I can also understand some French if I see it written (all that's remained from 5 years worth of lessons :p).
I also know a few words in several other languages, no point in listing them.

I did German up to degree-level, and whilst I wouldn't say I'm fluent, I can read most stuff without having to resort to the dictionary, my writing's alright, aside from a bit of dodgy grammar, but not having had the regular practice of speaking it for about 2 years (since I graduated) I feel awfully self-concious when I'm speaking and I'm sure the vocab I keep in my head has decreased. Now, doing my PhD about postwar refugee camps in Germany, I spend a lot of my time reading and writing in German. I actually even had to do a telephone interview the other day with the Koelner Stadtanzeiger, as I had been e-mailing regional German newspapers to try and get in contact with former expellees and refugee camp residents, it was pretty nerve-wracking.

I did French up to A-level (it's very rusty now though) and have done basic evening courses in Spanish and Dutch.
Goodfella this one is for you :)

Macht Sie mögen die Mädchen oder die Jungen lmao

This, by the way, is gobbledy gook, I'm afraid :p. Are you meaning to ask 'do you like girls or boys?' In which case, 'Stehen Sie/Stehst Du auf Maedchen oder Jungen'?

I speak English (dur), reasonable German and basic French. Someone at work is trying to teach me Spanish as well, not going well!

    English
    French
    Bits of other languages

I can learn a language pretty quickly though. If I don't practice I can't remember mind you. I learnt a fair bit of chinese mandarin last year, now I can barely remember how to say hello.

English. I did French GCSE and I could probably order most types of food and catch a bus in France, but that's it. I've attempted a bit of Latin, and I can say 'no wild water' in German, which is quite a useful thing to say when on a canoe exchange and some cry German bloke is trying to throw you down rapids.

    Different language.

I can't speak it very well but I can understand it when it's spoken and I know a lot of Romany nouns.
