She does have really long legs for her height- her legs are the same length as mine, and I'm 6'0. She's only 5'2 though, so her feet were on the floor because she wasn't sat on the stool properly.
Damn right
and what did you have to do? give a speech?
We were on a stage at the London Stock Exchange in front of about 200 people, and Martyn Lewis basically asked us questions about "what young people think". It was actually a really good laugh, helped by the rather tasty free wine and tiryaki salmon canapes.
What did you do, come on do tell
Martyn asked her a question about politics, so rather than waffle and bullshit, she said "I don't know".
I spoke to loads of people afterwards, and they all said it was the best answer that anyone gave all night. They said it was the bravest answer, and that it showed that she was talking from the heart. It made her look intelligent and credible.
Franki was so brave, talking about the things she did in front of 200 people. I talked about my SH, and that was hard for me, and I don't do it anymore and have public speaking experience.
There will be an mp3 and podcast of what we said going online at youthnet.org in a few days.
notice that everyone has gotten dressed up all smart, except Franki, who decided on trainers with neon laces
She wore a jacket!
Yeah, good on you girl, i wouldn't be embaressed about that.
Good on you all really talking about your personally issues and stuff, i think thats a really brave and cool thing to do infront of a room full of people you have never met before.
