    i've met a man who use to present a kids tv show from years ago. and one of the chuckle brothers ( :yuck: ) lives in a village near me and i saw him in town once. but never actually 'met' any.

    Me too! I went to a dance workshop he did, though well over a decade ago.

    Topic? I've met quite a lot of "celebrities" though most have been really uninteresting experiences.

    However, I've met Harvey Keitel twice and despite looking as rough as a badgers arse he has got a fabulous mega-watt smile and is fucking spot on. Love him.

    I have met very few, but seen thousands. when i lived in yorkshire, heartbeat and a few emmerdale scenes were filmed in my town. after they had finished filming used to come to safeway (where i worked) to do their shopping. Gina from heartbeat used to remember me and ask me how college was and how i was doing...she was lovely. since living in liverpool, like lipsy, i have seen many many hollyoaks, coronation street (and brookside!!) cast members. I swear i saw Lip from shameless last night! (oooh yes :yum: ) I've met Bobby Davro and this is the best...I packed Patrick Stewart's bags in Safeway! (He was either having a party or is a closet alcholic!)

    Im sure there's more, but I cant think of them off the top of my head! :chin:

    ETA: Craig from BB1 actually recognises me I have seen him so much. He gave me one of them, 'where do I actually know you from?' looks. not that great but hey!

    I see celebrities as normal, regular people. There is nothing special about them - they have a job like most of you on here (:p!) and they are humans - I assume.

    Can anyone enlighten me with the fact that makes celebrities special? Why do so many people want to meet them? What is up with fans, screaming and shouting, when they meet their favourite celebrity? If Chris Martin came up to me, I would greet him the same way I would greet any other adult.

    I met David Walliams and Matt Lucas after a Little Britain show. My dad did some photographs that they put in the program, so we got some free tickets. They were really cool guys, totally down to earth despite fame and everything!
