I am thinking that this is either just bullshit by the Mirror, or someones trying to create a deception because theyre seriously NOT gonna do something that stupid after a meticulously planned heist like that.
Dont hype their part up, the break in is the easy part, shifting the money is MUCH harder.
The robbers were the only ones who were armed, it was quite an uneven fight.

Edit:Just heard on the news, that they where trying to open a bank account with a bunch of notes securied together with tape with Tonbridge printed on it.
Seems a little harsh, and anyway, they wont get anywhere near that much.
Say they got £50m, half of that is in new notes, which they cant use.
So thats £25m, thats got to be split between 10 or more.
So thats £2.5m, but you've got to launder it, which is going to cost probably £500k.
So you've maybe, if you're lucky, you get £2m.
If they want to get caught that badly, why not just have a money fight in front of Scotland Yard?
Only messing ya dick don't take it thick!
lol
i vote that as a post of the week thing!
ive read that the majority of the notes were used
the money won't be as difficult to get rid of as has been suggested but ...going around trying to bank it still in wrappers doesn't bode well.
Even if its mostly in old notes they arent going to get much more than about £3m each. Which isnt a bad prize, risky though.
Very professional, and I think they had inside help too. :chin:
Potentially, the enjoyment derived from that sort of sum far outweighs a brief period of displeasure for that family.
I wouldn't. In my opinion, anyone who says that have trouble with their morals.
Ah, Bullshit. Like they'll miss it. Stealing from a theif, at the end of the day.
I say congratulations to them again. I hope they had somesort of Boat... and nipped 'cross the channel. What I would have done. I mean, the cash they got... it easily covers the cost of a boat bought before on a small loan or someshit.
why is it??
What's immoral about stealing bits of paper?
Probably something to do with our greedy capitalist government taking our labour for profit and all that "fuck the system" philosophy teh_gerbil seems to subsribe to.
well yeh they're bits of paper but they have value, don't they. i do think it's strange how a piece of paper can have so much value but that's how it is.
haha oh right, he's one of them is he.
Who loses out?
