I had a job a couple of years ago where I had to deal with Securitas quite a bit (I worked for the company that supplies the paper receipt rolls that goes in the ATM machines) and they were such a nice bunch of people. They were one of my favourite companies to do business with so this story has made me sad :(

Its really scary and the fact that a child was involved is awful. Hope they catch them. Its not the money its principle, aparently they're saying it could have been an inside job!!

MrG were you at work at the time when it happened to you?

Sure..that bit wasnt very nice..but they didnt hurt anybody, have little chance of getting caught and have bagged 40 million quid. They're probably not very nice people to hold a family hostage, granted, but i doubt they really give a shit as they're a lot richer now!

I hear two people were arrested late last night and are up for questioning this morning.

What I find astonishing is the people here who think that they hope they get away with it.

This gang kidnapped a family and subjected them to a 6 hour ordeal. The son (who is 7 or 8 I think) had guns pointed at him and his Mum. Do you think he'll ever get over something like that?

And £50mill is a shit load of cash. What do you think they're going to use it for? Stock up on bread and milk? More than likely it'll be used for guns/drugs/people trafficking/some other crime. And in some way or other that will affect us all.

I hope they get caught and are put away for ever.

Me too. I'm really shocked at how many of you think they should get away with it. Why on earth do you think they deserve to keep the money and get away with the whole thing?

Stealing the money is the easy part, spending it is the difficult bit, they've got probably more than a tonne of paper to get rid of.

I dont think they will be able to launder it without getting caught.

I hope they get away with it. For small amount I say bollocks, but huge amount like that I say Bravo.

I also love when hackers take control of corporates servers and get money out of them to give them their servers back. Always want them to get away with it.

I think big it's a good reminder to some people that think they have full control over the population.
