*whispers to avoid further embarassment for DJP*

If you go back to my original post on the matter, you will find that I had posted that I was withholding judgment until all facts concerning the issue were in, and openly available...
Some cretin started posting that the pilot should be tried for murder...
It has not been proven that the pilot is the party who "made the mistake"... it is subjective posturing to lay ANY blame from a perspective of ignorance on the matter.
I have as much right to post concerning the raves, drugs, and trysting activities in London (where I have never visited/observed) as that cretin has to post concerning the nature of a combat zone in a foreign and hostile nation.
Put a cork in the fecal orifice directly under its nose, and I will stand down...
btw ~ look back. I was not the only party to point to its hard-on for all matters concerning US. The cretin has some emotional issues that need to be worked out, elsewhere...
I THEN ADMITTED I WAS WRONG. Or did you miss that bit? I then stated SOMEBODY should be tried for murder.
You have no right to post about London because you have no information true or otherwise about the place, not because you've never been.
I have been using information given to me in all my posts to make informed judgements.
The only judgement you have the capability to make is what sort of underwear you should be wearing, and if it is a bad idea to wear it on your head or not.
I have no beef with the US, I get constantly pissed off by self-rightous people like yourself, who believe they can do no wrong, and everything you say should be taken as the gospel truth just because you were "in the nam".
I like how you've started refering to me as "the cretin", who's pathetic now? You too much of a gutless wonder to use my name? Or are you scared I'll prove another one of your arguments wrong?
go back to your guns, it's the only love you've got left to look forward to before you need to piss in a bag.
Your condescending bullying tactics are uncalled for. <IMG SRC="mad.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">
BTW, you are entitled to comment on "the raves, drugs, and trysting activities in London", as long as you accept that your knowledge is based on second-hand accounts and hearsay, and not personal experience.
In the same way, we are entitled to comment on the war in Afghanistan even though most of us have never been in a combat situation.
BTW 2, I fail to see how this whole affair is anyones fault but the pilot's. He pulled the trigger. Whether he was ordered to do so is irrelevant - it was his decision.
War is not as robotic as you like to make out.
A lesson for us all.
By the way, for those who wonder why I don't comment further on the issue at hand, I have already made my statement, and there's nothing I'd like to add to it.
To those who believe that only US forces get involved in "friendly fire" moments...
http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/world/europe/newsid_1853000/1853616.stm
It is a regretable part of war. Anyone who HAS been there acknowledges the fact and reality... (or do you simply consider it pro-US propoganda foisted by your own BBC???).
This shows a huge breakdown of communication, I'd be as angry if it was our troops firing on Americans/Canadians or whoever. It shouldn't happen at all. It shouldn't be an aspect of war.
Why would I fear a victim awaiting its statistical moment? LMFAO!
WHOWHERE is "the cretin" claiming omnipotence concerning what it has NEVER experienced...
Opinions are like assholes - everyone has one - but WHOWHERE's are in a diarrhetic condition: full of shit and beyond constraint.
Remember, boy... I spent two years in hell: do NOT attempt to instruct me concerning the climate there...
When have i claimed omnipotence? I've stated opinions and in most cases facts. Evidence. Something you never bring up.
I don't care if you spent 2 years in hell, and I certainly don't attempt to instruct you. But have to remember, THINGS CHANGE. You are no longer the almighty God on all things global, just because you've had your ass shot at for 2 years. Being shot at doesn't make you know anything at all, for all we know you were a reporter, or a deserter. All we have to go on is your word. You automatically expect us to believe everything you say, and accept your opinions as the word of God.
Likewise here, Whowhere expresses an opinion which is not in itself 'wrong'. He just disagrees with you, and there's nothing worng with that.
This is what I refer to as condescending bullying tactics. It's uncalled for, and only shows your immaturity.
'Friendly' fire incidents are not exclusive to the US, and no-one suggested that they were. But they most definitely should not be accepted as an inevitable part of war, which is what your arrogance seems to suggest.
Whowhere deleted his post claiming that "friendly fire" was the proprietary province of US military forces, but the statement stands... It is definitive of his poverty of personal discipline.
One things which has not changed in several millenia is civilians attempting to understand/judge warriors from the protected perspective of the civilian. Was not possible 2,000 years ago, is not possible now, and will not be possible in the future. If it were possible, then there would be no need for military training...
Consult someone familiar with the USMC. Inquire of them what is requisite to make E7 in the first enlistment. Hardly the province of "reporter, or a deserter"...
As E7 ("gunny sgt" to you), my job was to run a platoon. Many of my ordered missions were to lead a platoon into "Indian territory".
You have proven nothing except to your own self-serving and self-righteous satisfaction. Your delusions do not disprove reality...
And exactly how much combat experience do you have? How much "trigger time"? Had you even a month in a hot zone, then your reflexive responses would be radically different from those of your current sheltered existence, IF you survived the experience.
Robotic? Those who survive long periods of combat have a place within themselves which is purely machine, and you can consult anyone of any nation, or any armed forces concerning that matter. When the button is set off which starts the machine, the responses ARE "robotic"... And those whose are not? Become KIA/MIA statistics.
Consult your Royal Marines/SAS on the issue. If they are truthful and tolerant of your ignorance, they will confirm what I say...
Accept reality. Even the one of which you have exactly no experience. To not accept reality is to live within your state of denial.
You have stated that you want to join the military? You will get your naivite stomped from your thick noggin, or you will be summarily dropped...
