According to this report hangover cures don't work.

What's your favourite way to "cure" a hangover? What will you be using over the festive season?

Me? I like a good fry up - bacon and eggs :yum: After that, lots of water :yes:

    Best hangover cure in the world.....ever!!

    Eggy Bread (French Toast, Gypsy Toast, whatever you wanna call it) and a can of Irn Bru. And it's got to be proper Irn Bru not your crappy Asda own make or anything.

    one big thing i've noticed about scotland. irn bru is stocked by the ton in every shop here... but why? it's fucking disgusting?

    anyway back on topic, i've always been one of them lucky people who never get hangover but yet i have also turned t'total so an impossible chance of getting a hangover

    Water, fruit juice and bed rest. Plus if you are getting the shakes just a tiny bit of vodka.

    What's wrong with the placebo effect? Works for me, and besides, the bubbles settle the stomach. And considering your Vit B levels are affected by alcohol, no harm in boosting them up again. Healthier than a fry up...

    And small nibbles of toast.

    Although after my worst ever drinking session, with some mates, me and one other mate couldn't even hold down water! He went back to sleep... I sat outside in the rain, shaking. Heheh.

    A fuck load of sleep accompanied by a fuck load of lucozade hydrotonic drinks. then greasy food (cheese burger and fries is my weapon of choice) then more sleep

    Cure 1: mild-ish hangover
    If you feel sick with a bit of a headache as well it's gotta be blue powerade and a greasy fry up.

    Cure 2: hangerover from hell
    If you've got the shakes (or what I've been suffering from recently, the "fake-shakes", I feel like I've got the shakes but I'm not even moving!), I normally try and neck a vodka and orange or a bottle of reef. If this doesn't work concede defeat and get ya fingers down ya throat you'll feel better for it. Make sure you keep drinking fluids though.

    Pedialite.
    It's used for babies, but works like a charm. it rehydrates you like nothing else!

    or the obvious, dont drink alcohol. its a waste anyways :D
