read the link ...he sounds like a highly inteligent and respected man.
Anyway, no I don't think he should be killed, firstly because I don't believe in the death penalty and secondly he sounds like a man who's genuinely sorry for his sins, 4 life sentences, yes, death, no.
That you're a prick .......
the americans strike me as being very like the taliban.
i mean ...banning beer in the twenties ...did you know their were some at the time who wanted to take it further and force all men to have a beard?
R.I.P Tookie Williams.
In honesty, I have no idea what this case is but I'm intrigued so I will read on....
[EDIT] He was declared dead at 0835. Still reading, though I'm not sure what to think...
But with regard to the actual execution, well it has confirmed what I had suspected. That far from being an okay fella with just the wrong policies Arnold Schwarzenegger is, in fact, a cunt.
But Slippy knew we'd feel like that which is why he posted this shite.
Why? Did she sneeze?
Hell, Tookie received a couple of Nobel Prize nominations for his charity work - do you not think that shows that he might have changed his life for the better? Owing to the nature of his crimes (though one of them is still under doubt), life imprisonment seems a more rational option but at least allow him to keep up the work he's doing.
Most death row inmates stay in prison for up to 20 years before their execution.
The double standards of America astoubd me, they yap on about China's human rights record while they also kill their prisoners.
If you're thinking along the lines of the EU then no.
clean shaven countries have moved on.
shame on america.
You'll not find many nations outside the EU who have rights like that.
