What's the strangest Surname you've ever heard of?
I reckon the Minister for Transport has the strangest name
Mr Lady-Man

Funniest I've come across is Wanck.
I know it's co-burn but I still laugh!
whats that then?
people say mine is weird :<
its Greenlees btw :crying:
hehe, I know someone with that surname.
Me too! They don't appreciate the chuckles, ever.
Not that weird, but the assistant manager at my old workplace was a real ladies man with a very fitting surname.. Pickup.
:crying:
If I told you that, then you'd all laugh at me!
What's weird about that?! Consider yourself lucky boy, my maiden name was Dünger.
My name now is as common as muck and that's just how I like it. Don't have to spell it for anyone! :yippe:
She was very brave though and did lots of amazing nursing on the front line in world war one and really shouldn't be laughed at.
There's a family of Cockerill's that live down the round which is a bit of a random farmyard name ;p
I've always wanted to meet someone called Richard Head.
There was a guy I met once back home called Richard Brie. Needless to say, he had a cracking nickname...
I also know people with surnames such as Puddifoot and Tinker.
Wonder if her first name was Tess... :chin:
R Soul
He always just signed himself Soul for some reason.........
R Souls is a coach company where I'm from
And Cockburn - theres a Historian called Cockburn, pronounced Cohburn. I said Cockburn because I didn't realised, and everyone laughed at me
oh and my mum and step-dad clearly have the best surname. it's rocks. if it was my surname i'd so be emphasising the 'rocks' so it'd be like 'lucy ROCKS!'
my mum is a nurse and has come back after a day at work with loads of stories about people with funny names.. i just cant think of them!!! one of them did have cock in it though if i remember correctly..
very silly indeed
Having said that, I'd prefer to have a less-common surname than a common one. Mrs T, whose surname is Davies, can't wait to adopt my name!
