good for me saying as i did fuck all revision last year and i got my place at Queens so happy enough.
lol in 2 of my psychology exams I got A's! thats amazing (only 4marks off
Religious studies BBD= C
History all d=D
Im doing history and social history at manchester met uni!
University of Hull, here I come.
Mind you, I was all nervous this morning, noticed a ucas letter on the tele, opened it , big bunch of leaflets and then a letter saying "Congratulations you have been firmly accepted for the above institution" so...I already knew I was ok...!!
got to get ready for uni now...!
Although speaking to a teacher in the pub afterwards, the majority of my computing teacher's class got U grades. The D was a shock, as it was in a subject i don't understand too well, and the E was understandable. As was the other U.
Still happy with my results, as bad as they may be
B - Biology
C - Geography
to Queens I go
Maybe they're saying the same thing because every year they get easier?
I felt so sorry for one of my friends who works so hard but just didnt get the grades. She wants to be a dentist, so needs practically straight As, but in science/maths she got EDDC, yet in graphics a subject she loves (but not what she wants to go into) she got an A.
I dunno, makes me think. Is it wise to get fixated on a career route, or best to just do what we enjoy? I enjoy maths, and I do best in maths, but I don't actually know what I want to do... (except more maths )
C - Psychology
C - ICT
C - General studies
I needed BBC for my first choice uni and got rejected so I'm off to manchester met instead to study psychology
My advice is do what I did, blag your way onto an HND (easy enough, some uni's will take anyone) then after that transfer to the degree, you can often go onto the third year of that and you havent lost any time.
Just a thought.
could you go through clearing?
i did a 3rd year at college so i could get the grades, and it was worth it in the end. 1 year isn't much in the great scheme of things.
wish i'd got an A in politics though, wasn't too far off but oh well!
lol my mate got that just before she went to get the results!
I suppose I'll just have to use my season pass instead.
