Tbvh i would recommend to you not to buy a Gericom. I had one  .. it broke. I used to always get the blue screen of death! It used to crash, it was generally a pile of shit. I eventually took mine back to where i bought it, which just so happened to be my very own place of work at that time and got lots of other stuff in place of it, later bought a desktop. I worked in an electrical retailer for 2 years which sold Gericom laptops. On one occasion a customer bought one, it became faulty, and was sent for repair. It was sent to Gericom in Germany and it went missing, alas it was never seen again :/ who knows where it ended up.. Do not buy Gericom is my totally honest opinion. The spec might be good and it might suit what your looking for but thats it.

    :)

A little advice I would give you is go to a local computer hardware store or PC World where they have 4 or 5 different laptops and try them out. See what kind of things make a difference to you - do you like a big screen, or does the style appeal to you? Is it memory or graphics processing? The worst thing you can do is spend over a grand on a notebook that doesn't really suit your needs - I know people who have bought high end systems they want to play games on yet have graphics cards and chipsets that are more suited to graphic designing. They're still good, but for a different thing.

Never underestimate a macintosh :p they were the leaders in mobile technology for years and years Apple iBook

By the weay, you should pick yourself up a copy of Micromart magazine and have a look at the ads. They have some very good dealers listed in there.

Hellfire, why is it that just because he's a new member you feel as if you should do anything else other than shut the fuck up? Nobody wants to hear what you have to say.

And PM'ing people to tell them not to reply in your threads AMAZING, :hyper:

Hi people I am 17 and going to college next year,
I want a laptop for up to £1100/€1500,
I want a powerful laptop with good graphics and memory
yet light with a relatively good battery life (would be happy with being able to watch full film)
I am thinking of ordering this laptop today, what do you think?
    I would appreciate any help,
    thanks
    heres the website

The more powerful the laptop the shorter the battery life!!

Also the louder, the hotter, etc

We'll be getting my cousin an HP 1.3GHz Laptop for little over £429 and that willbe plenty for his needs - it's actually about 20% more normally but we're getting a staff discount.
