My point is that it is only the so-called family values nutcases that are suggesting that sex is best in a strong relationship, whether defined as marriage or not.

The fpa won't. The government won't. Sexual health organisations aren't lobbying about relationships education, just the same old contraception and access to abortion line, and "safe sex".

Are you thinking about it enough?. This is where young people are directed for sexual health advice on the web. It is heavily biased towards contraception and general sex advice. It's practically an advert for carefree sex.

    ETA link.

doesnt seem that bad to me kentish.

its a tough one, though, its hard to find a balance between sex in relationships and actually being realistic about sex and why and where people do it.

people have one night stands, and they need to be taught how to stay safe. doing this without condoning it is very tricky.

terrible idea.......it's making assumptions that every teenage girl needs to take protection against pregnancy! Many don't even have sex until well after the legal age limit!

    what a pile of poo

It's not, but it comes from a position of assuming that everyone is having sex, which can only add to the peer pressure. There's no real relationships advice there and kids don't get that elsewhere.

I largely agree with your other points.

damn just done a long post, and lost it, anyway the injection is available already, and so if the article says the government is considering making it compulsory, HELLLLLOOOOOOO POLICE STATE

girls and boys who do land up getting involved in pregenecy and disease should get as much help as they need, but this should be prevented by better education, ie adopting the european model of teaching sex ed, and families talking to their kids about it from a young age, like where babies come from, and about how its something 2 responsible people who have a good relationship do to be closer etc

it shoudnt be "sex is bad" cause it isnt, irresponsible sex is bad
