combatting binge drinking

should we follow our european neighbours in this have legal drinking age as 16? or should we try change perveying belief that drink is there to get blind drunk and encourage responsible? should we clamp down with a iron rod on all people who a re drunk? should we allow bars to open longer so they dont have everyone rushing…

i don't regard teletext as a good source, who uses it nowadays? Anyway a more European system of stuff being open later would work in my opinion. It is true that you drink lots when time is ending...only last Friday I had to drink up the 2 pints i had bought in happy hour and not drank yet in 15 minutes..... this was only in my hall though.
