    I'm sorry about that kerfuffle, Hannah. Answering the question, I think it would be best to perhaps not tell mum about this incident. For some reason, I envisage that could make things worse. That said, if you really want to tell her, please do.

    Look buddy, we're totally unable to judge how your mum is going to react, if you feel you need some kind of absolution and your mum can give it to you, then tell her, otherwise forget about it. However, if your house and home is going to fall down around your ears if you tell your mum that you feel you've been foolish then it's not worth it.

    Don't bother telling your mum. What's she gonna do about it? It's not like you have just done something that's gonna get you in the shit with the police. We learn by our mistakes so don't worry, there's no need to feel guilty about it. Plenty of people have done it & if you don't feel confatable doing it then don't, it's your choice.
