Do you think telling a partener that porn makes you feel inadequate, and that you'd rather they didn't watch it, make them want to more?
Do boys really look at porn and just tell their girlfriends they don't to save their feelings?
Is it unreasonable to ask a man not to watch it? Isn't regular sex (diverse and even kinky) enough?
Is paying for live porn as close to cheating as you can get? Or am i exaggerating this?

A: I think once you told your partner, he would understand how you feel. If he really cares for your feelings he wont want to watch it. Communication goes along way

A: I dont think its to save their feelings, its probably down to embarassment but to save their feelings may be a issue for others.

A: Nah its not unreasonable if it makes you uncomfy or what have you...some guys just like regular sex topped up with over the top porn
Is paying for live porn as close to cheating as you can get? Or am i exaggerating this?
A: Bit of a exaggeration i think
your b/f sure won't like you less when/after watching it.
in a way it's like little kids and mcdonald's:
they just love it and can't seem to get enough of it, but if you'd serve 'em a salad once in a while they sure eat it as well.
obviously the salad being the porn and mcdonald's the "regular sex" with the girl/boyfriend
quite a fucked up comparison but that's all I could think of right now... I think I need some porn myself now *lol*

I don't think it would make them want more, it would just make them feel uncomfortable... but most probably wouldn't stop them. Although in a relationship, honsety is always best

pretty much... what possible reason would a guy have for telling his gf that he loves watching porn?
Is it unreasonable to ask a man not to watch it? Isn't regular sex (diverse and even kinky) enough?
it's not completely unreasonable. most especially if he's telling you, "right, i'm off to watch some porn, see you later!". In which case there is no reason for you not to say anything.
in general, to be satisfied, men need lots of sex, so purhaps your sex drives are different, which is very possible!

I think, paying for live porn when you have a gf, is a little unreasonable... The main thing you should do, is just ask him why he feels the need, when you're there to satisfy him! but try not to do this in an accusing, telling off way, he'll just get defensive
Do you think telling a partener that porn makes you feel inadequate, and that you'd rather they didn't watch it, make them want to more:
Maybe your insecure, ask your self why it makes you feel inadequate. I think he'd feel slightly guilty if you told hom about it.

My girlfriends wasn't bothered if I did but I agree with what Crazy_Guy said.
Is it unreasonable to ask a man not to watch it? Isn't regular sex (diverse and even kinky) enough?
No it's not unreasonable, I think most people still masturbate even when getting regular sex, there's nothing wrong in it. Even if he does stop watching it he is still gonna wank, porn just give him a little more enjoyment when doing it.

I'm sorry but I have to laugh when people say porn is like being cheated on. It's no where near like being cheated on. I've never paid for porn and I wouldn't pay for like sex shows, I think paying for it could be a little upsetting and I wouldn't like if my missus was paying to watch some bloke shag.
At the end of the day porn is porn and he isn't cheating on you so why worry? The only time to ask questions is if he is getting addicted to it and would rather watch porn than have sex with you. But if it is really bugging you then just mention something to him.
Porn is normal, and it is your problem not his. Sure, he should respect your feelings, but if you feel inadequate it is your problem. Men look at tits and pussy, not the girl, so it's not like he's lining up a replacement or anything.
Paying for live porn isn't cheating, again because it's just looking at tits and pussy.
As for masturbation, having a quick shuftie is like having a bag of crisps- it's a nice little snack, but nothing more. Sex is the full meal.
thats actually a brilliant idea, trust me when i say that it can add an extra boost to your love life
Can't help how they feel. Though saying that I do always say, at least try it before knocking it... *shrugs*
i wouldn't say it was cheating at all.
i don't mind my other half looking at porn. even live porn. the girls are acting. when he goes away there'll be someone else, and they'll do the same act all over again. it's a fantasy. that's all.
but if he so much as kissed another, real life, girl, i'd blow a fuse.
The worst thing about porn is how easy it is to see it by accident and sometimes have it forced on you... a bit like some religions. Also, if I say to someone that I don't like porn, it takes them a lot of convincing because so many people (85%) looks at it in the first place.
quote from Scrubs
Porn = a burger and fries after ten pints . lovely
Sex with G.F = A lovely home cooked meal served up with a nice bottle of wine and finished of with a nice slice of chocolate fudge cake !!!
Two very diffrent things , both with individual merits of their own !
but then again... we're like a thousand miles apart...
but i meant when he was close to me... i didn't care
it's not like you're not pleasing him, because im 96.5% sure you are but he just needs extra pleasing... many guys i know jack off once or twice everyday...
Look at it as a way of avoiding playing around !! ( joke )
Its very healthy. Porn is just an aid. Sorry for yet again using food as a metaphor but porn is to wanking what a cook book is to a nice bite of grub !!
It not all a bed of roses !!
If your boyfriend looking at porn really does make you feel inadequate however, you should talk to him about it and if necessary ask him not to watch it, if that is what will give you peace of mind and make you happy.
Some men will look at porn and lie to their girlfriends about it, others will genuniely not look at it and not be interested in it - it really is down to the individual. To a lot of people it just isn't a big deal at all and they wouldn't even think about it while they were doing it or consider it having any consequences - its just like having a visual aid to masurbation.
Paying for live porn is a little more questionable, but at the same time its still only porn and its still only a focus of temporary sexual tension, nothing else.
If you were my boyfriend, I'd want you to wake me up There's nothing better than 4am sex... the lovely feeling of waking up and thinking 'did I just dream that?'....
Hmm yeah I do that some times and its great, but one time the GF was having a bad dream or something and God Damn it if she didn't nearly tear my member right off when I nudged it against her thigh !!
But I do like to wake her and then .....Bam !!
The only issue can be breath which is only overcome if you can are in a frenzy !!
i find porn disgusting and degrading.
paying for live porn (or getting it free) is classed as cheating to me. I dont get why somebody in a relationship would need to look at somebody else naked *shrug*
if you think that, then its your own opinion, i believe looking at porn is neither disgusting or degrading. the girls get paid large sums of money and know what theyre doing.
i have a gf of 2 years and i look at porn, its not that we dont have a fantastic sex life its because when ever i get a dose of the horns and she isnt there, its an aid to getting myself off. girls who masterbate dont need visual stimulants but fellas do, i find porn sound as fuck.
if i caught my gf looking at porn, it wouldnt piss me off, it would actually be a turn on. i dont find looking at nudie ladys or men in whatever case as cheating, its not like theyre actually partaking in the actual fucking. theyre only watching, its innocent.
im not picking on you blah, i of course understand your stance on it and fair play but i'm on the other side of your opinion that finds porn nothing other than a bit of harmless fun.
didnt really need to point out that u disagree because u have already put in this thread that u dont have a prolem with porn
ETA: the signal it would give off to me is "your not good enough, so i need to look at somebody better"
It does not show 100% satisfaction. For instance, when i was single i would look at men and think ooh he's nice ( i would use porn as an example but ive never seen any ) but since being in a couple i dont need to look at anything else.
As i said, my *opinion*
Also we are no built naturally to be monogomists . There is nothing wrong with naked bodies.
Thats why they have menus in a resteraunt !
Porn is fun and helpful.
Any one who sees it as more may be abusing it.
It depends on WHY the person uses it. I use it to crack one out when I can't stop the root ! And some times , to avoid a mess , I use a johnny and have a good old fashioned Posh Wank
