That's a very archaic viewpoint. Personally I enjoy it when my female friends fart, and cheer them on! Liberation for women from the sterotypical non-farting beings!!

also the edge of a cardboard box scratching across the flat bit of the box.
and those pensioner coughs. you know the ones. where you fear any minute their lungs are just gonna pop right out of their mouths....
edited to add: when people stir their tea and the spoon scrapes the bottom of the mug. i HATE that.
