The truth is that the West needs an enemy like Bin Laden. How else to justify outlandish military budgets and the continued need for surveillance and control?

We made and need Bin Laden. If not him, it'll be someone else.

Our aim is to make sure Islamist terrorism is completly extinguished.

This means answering tough questions about Islamic doctrine, and Islams role in a persons life.

This means showing Muslims there is a different way, the Western way.

Can we extinguish Christian terrorism as well then?

Sure, but Christian terrorism is not nearly as widespread, destructive or hate filled as Wahabism-Terrorism.

Instead of frothing at the mouth like the ill educated lunatic you are, why not try and oppose my point in an intelligent manner?

    Oh no, you can't.

    Bye.

Bush is a Christian fundamentalist, guilty of sponsoring terrorism.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't most of his sponsors from Saudi Arabia? certainly the WTC hijackers were.

Matadore has a very positive outlook on the so-called 'war on terror'. You could have been forgiven for thinking he was reading from 'The Best of The President's Weekly Address to the Nation', so optimistic the report is.

I fear that Al Qaida is nowhere as diminished as portrayed here. It might well be true that 90% of their old bases have been destroyed. Well they don't seem to have had much trouble creating new ones.

Check the terrorist activities attributed to Al Qaida since the end of 2001 against those carried out up to 9/11. For a terrorist group against the ropes they seem to be doing better than ever.

And let's not forget one thing. By a breathtakingly stupid exercise of idiocy and incompetence George W. Bush has single-handedly managed to turn an all-time high worldwide support and sympathy for the USA (during the days and weeks after 9/11) into a dislike, fear and hatred of America never seen before in less than 2 years since 9/11. An unprecedented record.

And how did he manage that? Well by attacking Iraq of course, which had absolutely fuck all to do with the war on terror. And by continuing to fuel the flames in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. And by threatening to attack yet more Arab and Muslim countries while talking of 'Crusades' and claiming to be on a mission from God.

Thanks to Dubya's catastrophic presidency Islamic terrorist cells are multiplying like the plague. Does it really matter if bin Laden is caught and Al Qaida finished Matadore, when you have tens of thousands of individuals prepared to continue the struggle independently? Al Qaida had actually nothing to do with Bali or Madrid. Bush's cruise missiles and stealth bombers are utterly useless in the 'war' he's claiming to be fighting, and the more he tries to solve things by force, the more recruits he wins for the enemy's cause.

They're still brainwashing their children, they're still more concerned about the west's wrongs than their own faults, and they're still as dangerous as ever.

How interesting! Just as we continue to brainwash ours to the MIC-serving status quo (gotta keep those weapons flowin and conflicts brewing to use em in), concentrate more on the wrongs of the rest of the world rather than our own and indeed we're still as dangerous as ever.

The death and destruction we have wrought over the past 60+ years, all well documented, exceeds anything done by "terrorists" by an enormous margin.

But we shan't expect the regurgitators of PR soundbites to appreciate this fact nor comprehend its contribution to the very crises we find ourselves returning to again and again, decade after decade.
