Does anyone know.. If someone adds you as a friend on their facebook, is it an automatic thing when they use their hotmail account or did they choose to add me?

Did that make sense?

    They choose whether to send you the request or not. They can tick a box to say they want to be your friend, rather than it just sending out to everyone on their list.
