Cork on a budget

I'm going to Cork with my girlfriend in Feb and was just wandering if anybody had ideas of things we could do there on a tight budget (times are hard in the stidge household).

    If you're staying in a hostel I really recommend "The Bru" in the city. Cork city doesn't have much in it except pubs (typical Irish city) but if you get a bus out to West Cork you'll see some great scenery. I'm sure there's tours on.

    County Cork has some really beautiful scenery and Blarney castle isn't too far away so you can go and kiss the Blarney stone! lol
    If you can travel a bit then visit Killarney or Dingle in County Kerry, more very beautiful scenery.
