I know what you mean, Allied Assault is my favourite MOH game and the rest are a bit repetitive, although Pacific Assault was quite good.
Airborne does sound really good though.

I'm going to be such a girl here and say the the PC game I'm most looking forward to (well, technically it's an expansion pack) is The Sims Seasons
