I was reading The Decadent Handbook last night - I can't recommend it highly enough for those with a kinky side - and there was an extract from a novel in which a lobster gives a woman an orgasm on the Titanic. Anyway, it got me thinking, why is having sex with animals wrong? I've never done it and have no intention of doing it (though admittedly I did once go to the website but that was when I was young, new to the internet and researching the George Orwell book).
But seriously - why is it OK to eat a cow but not to pleasure it?? Just curious about what people think....

So yeah, it's because cows are only after one thing. So if you see one in a club, be very wary. And always use protection, they probably have all sorts of STDs.
But it does have a certain mystique.
That's why creatures such as Mick Hucknall continue to get laid, despite being a character from Ren & Stimpy (or looking like one, anyway).

Still, it's wrong because it is. If anybody feels sexually attracted to animals they've got a screw loose.

First off, there is a difference between eating an animal and pleasuring it. Using your logic of, if we can eat it, why can't we pleasure it, canabalism would be accepted, because we pleasure eachother, we can now eat eachother?
Although I personally think it would be ok for a person to want to have sex with an animal as an experiment, it would be difficult i assume. First off, i think it is only possible for females to have sex with animals, or that is all i have heard of. Also, i have heard it said that dolphins are the only animal besides humans who have sex for pleasure, so the pleasing an animal part is out of the picture IF that is true.
Eighter way, i think it would be an interesting thing to try for some people. I dont think it should be looked down upon, but there is no way you can get people to think it is normal.
Some people think have any sex out of wedlock is wrong, so if it is an animal, then you will get all the crazy people on your case =P
Consent is really a non argument as we use animals for food, clothing, sport, research, labour etc... and do we ask consent for any those things? Do we fuck.
It's a similar question to why is Incest wrong if you practice safe sex?

In the unlikely circumstance that an animal could say 'Do me now baby' then yes I suppose so. Wouldn't be a preferential choice for me and I probably wouldn't associate myself with anyone who did but I suppose thats just due to my own narrow-mindedness eh.

I think so. I mean, I can think of arguements why I personally wouldn't do it but at this moment in time (3 minutes till 12 :impissed: ) that's the only moral high-ground I can take.
I understand your arguement but I just don't think they are comparable, I don't think I'm a hypocrite for eating a burger and finding beastility wrong.

The only animals wich have sex for pleasure other than the human being is the dolphin. Actually, a lot of bisexual behaviour occurs in dolphins.
I don't see how sex with an animal is any worse than eating an animal... I mean if you're not hurting it then maybe it is less sick than eating it...

Ive seen some animal porn :yuck: where male animals did it to female humans, and you can hardly say they didnt consent.
As I said, I think its completely vile, and id question the stability of someone that way inclined for sure, but apart from that...
If your do is humping your leg it's probably a domnance thing... A lot of animals make noise when they mate. Cats for example are very noisy.
Well, a) they are a different species b) they can hardly say "Yeah, I give consent" c) look at what results - diseases, death, etc.

We kill cows to eat to survive. Some people shag them for pleasure for themselves, which is taking advantage of something that cant consent.

Consent is a stupid thing to argue because I doubt Daisy consents to be my tea either. And we don't need to eat Daisy for tea, otherwise there'd be no veggies in the world. Only recently has meat become a staple- until very recently it was a luxury.
It is absolutely rank to pork a pig or a pony though, and anyone who does is seriously ill or getting a serious wedge of cash.
