How should I tell people im gay?

Ive recently come to terms with myself about my true sexuality, and have decided that Iam gay. To be honest Ive known for the last 2 years but could never accept it. I dont know how to approach people about it as I fear it will damage my reputation as I am popular and a good sports player. I would greatly appreciate as much advice as possible, however I feel a bit uneasy with people seeing advice directed towards me. Therefore I would appreciate it if you could email me at stunjnr@hotmail.com as I still feel vunerable and confused.

    Being gay is, as far is I know, accepted as 'normal' these days.
    So as Balddog says, you don't need to tell anyone.

    Ive never told anyone im straight, they might have assumed it...I dont see the need to tell everyone he is gay. Im sure they will figure it out when they see his boyfriend, same as they figured he was straight if they saw his gf in the past.

    Well only tell the people who need to know, the rest will work it out.
    Tell your mum, dad, brothers and sisters etc. Tell your mates.

    Hey, well i believe u shouldn't presure urself to tell everyone, on day u will tell people, ur just not ready now. And even if u do come out, who cares? No one needs to be Against it, its your sexuality not theres, so if they dont like it, then fuck them. Im Bi, i dont really care what people think. Im not gonna keep a deep secret my whole life. ^_^
