have i been hacked?

I didn't use my laptop over the weekend and when i came back on it i'd got 2 emails from paypal only i doubt they were real. The addresses were kauffmann and [email protected] something.
I've never used paypal and i've had a weird address that doesn't work in my history come up.

Have i been hacked and what can i do?

    No, you haven't been hacked, don't worry about it :-).

    It's just phising attempts, everyone gets them now and again.

    (They'll send the same message out to a tonne of people on the assumption that a small percentage will be silly enough to enter their paypal deets)
