No, that is not worth it.

If it's 5 door, perfect condition, with around 12 months tax and MOT, then maybe, but 80,000 miles is quite a bit for a car that old.

well its in immaculate condition with one previous owner+does have one year mot. is it just me but i thought when it comes to mileage With VW it doesn't matter with it being a germen car and the reputation it has.

Well mileage always matters when it comes to the value. You're already paying for the VW badge based on the fact that this car costs more than the equivalent Nissan or Mazda or Seat or whatever to start with. But yeah, if it's got a full VW service history, then I wouldn't worry too much about the mileage. Might be worth asking what it's been used for though, because 80k miles round town will wreck a car more than 80k motorway miles. I'd say it's a fair price rather than an amazing deal, but you might be able to haggle them down a bit. If you like it, and it's mechanically sound, then go for it.

I bought it over 3 years ago, without having driven it and with 3 weeks MOT on it, and its been the absolute best car. 3 MOTs and all its needed is 1 bulb and an exhaust backbox.
Ive not been using it since it was MOT'ed in march coz ive got another car. But new car is getting on my nerves so i havent wanted to part with the much loved civic, but i cant keep it on the road here for much longer as its un-taxed, so a reluctant sale is required.
I want someone to look after it!!

Or ill keep it and you can have an Escort Convertable that keeps having fuel problems?!!!!
