Anyone know of any pubs around your area with a grand piano and a pianist.

It's not a grand piano, but my local has a beaten up (but in tune!) old piano on which they allow any old drunkard to bash out a tune. It has been me on far too many occasions

Can't wait 'til they start up the absinthe-fuelled carol singing sessions 'round the piano again, woo!

nope, in London rent is like £50 a square foot so I'd imagine a grand piano would take up a lot of valuable space.

Do wish there were more places (near where I live) with live music though

    Briggi your local sounds...interesting!

Can't say I've seen a pub with a piano and for that I am truly thankful. I think having a jukebox is a liability enough with the crap that people put on. I don't think I'd turn up for work again if people were playing instruments and the like! Mind I am a miserable old grump :grump:
