    Erm, what?

    I honestly couldn't care, they'll have a database anyway soon with ID cards, like this makes the blindest bit of difference to the fact ID cards will have so mich anyway.

    Couldn't the just scan in the card at the roadside tbh?

    Have you seen the new DVLA advert with the sinister black box? "You can't escape the computer."

    If they put as much effort into chasing drug dealers as they do harrassing motorists, Britain would be far more pleasant place to live.
