Haha, may as well make a pizza!

I like to do half inch stripes of cheddar and red leicester, or even create a chess-board pattern.

Yes, yes..... how sad am I?

    yeah, yeah...

Each to their own. Some poster was telling me how mature cheese burned their mouth. You have to be comfortable with what you are eating, or why bother buying anything other than a pot noodle?

I have a yummy winter dinner, it's unusual but very tasty! Don't mock it til you try it, is my motto!

    Smoked Sausage & Sauerkraut stew:

    1 pack Mattesons smoked sausage
    3 medium potatoes
    2 medium carrots
    2 sticks celery
    4-5 medium closed cup mushrooms
200g (approx) rinsed & drained Sauerkraut (you can buy it in most stores, in the pickle section)
    3/4 pint chicken stock
1 tin cream of mushroom soup

Peel & chop the potatoes into quarters, place in pan.
Peel & slice carrots into chunky slices, add to pan.
Chop celery into chunky slices, add to pan.
Add 3/4 pint of chicken stock & bring to boil, then simmer until all veg is cooked.
Chop smoked sausage into chunky slices, add to pan.
Chop mushrooms into chunky slices & add to pan.
Rinse & drain Sauerkraut & add to pan.
Add tin of cream of mushroom soup, give a quick stir, simmer for about 10 minutes.
    Serve with crusty bread.

Seriously, this is yummy......my fella hates Sauerkraut but loves it in this!

Corned beef and Baked Bean Medley - really cheap, simple and filling

    Spring onions
    Chives
    New potatoes
    Cubed Corned Beef
    Baked Beans

    Boil potatoes, drain and cool.

    Fry the onions and chives
Add the cooled potatoes, fry until nearly golden
Add the corned beef and fry for 5 mins
Add the baked beans until hot

    Serve with fried egs :yum:
