Crop tops

Is there a way to wear a crop top without looking like a prostitute or complete moron? My boyfriend has decided I suit them (having rolled my tank top up earlier) and because I'm trying to keep him very happy at the moment, I thought I'd humour him.

I have a toned stomach, so that's ok. I'm highly unlikely to wear it in public (unless under something), but all the same, I'd rather not feel completely stupid.

I think now is a good time to point out that when someone asks for your opinion there are ways of giving it that don't necessarily make you seem judgemental or small minded. I'm all for humor, but sometimes it doesn't translate well over the internet...

I don't have any crop tops as such but I do have a few tank tops I cut off in my tartier days which I sometimes wear around the house, that might be the easiest solution as - like you said - they aren't really in fashion at the moment or even anywhere to be seen as far as I've noticed! Though maybe sports or dance shops..

You could wear them with like dance pants around the house when you and him are just vegging out.

Go for like plain colours though, so as not to look too much like Mel C

Like a white crop top with baby pink jog pants or something.

I wouldn't recommend wearing one outdoors

saying htat, I used to have a lovely cropped jumper thing that I'd wear belly out with jeans. Wonder if I'd wear it now, if I still had it?

Heidi (the blonde one) from the Sugababes looks good when she has her midriff on show. I think it can look good on a night out if you're toned and you keep your legs covered.

There's nothing wrong in putting on a little someting for your man, as long as he returns the favour with something you want
