2. The Man United "glory hunters" tag is rather unfair, to be honest. I'm an ABU and proud but even I can see that a lot of United fans aren't glory hunters- they were getting crowds of 50,000 in the dark days of the 70s and 80s, when they got relegated. Man City fans are the same- full houses every week in the oldold 3rd Division. Compare that to the barcodes around here- "the greatest fans in the country"- and their 12,000 attendances when they came down to the oldold 2nd Division.
3. If anything Leeds fans are far more "glory hunting" than the Man Utd lot- that's why all the towns in West Yorkshire are full of people catching the train to Leeds every Saturday rather than watching us, or Halifax, or Udders, or Park Avenue (back in the old days).
4. Cardiff City (like Swansea, Wrexham and Newport County) are affiliated to the English FA- which is why they do not qualify for the UEFA Cup Prelims when they win the FAW Cup.
