Those little tweaks in Vista is nothing compared to the way you can customize Linux, if it's a cool box you want then go KDE. I don't see why people would want to use Vista full time, it's a test build.

Im not slagging it off, but it is a test build for a reason. you may not have discovered it yet but there could be a few big bugs that MS hasnt found out that RC2 users will.

Remember when Win XP first came out, and the vunerability that clicking a specific link in a webpage would delete all your C:\ drive?

It's amazing how easily some folks are impressed with transparencies :D Here's my computer desktop:

    Attachment not found.

The best part is the rotating cube for multi desktops. Very nice!

I'm a Linux newbie though so I have Windows 2000 on here as well. It's just not the same though...

    SuSE 10.1 + Gnome.

I'm a Linux newbie - looking to get used to it over the next few weeks/months so when W2k support ends I don't have to upgrade to the awful XP or switch to Vista. I haven't tried Ubuntu (been told it's good) but up until now SuSE has been the most hassle-free and user friendly so I'm sticking with it.

Mandriva is the most hassle free distro I have used so far. I downloaded Mandriva Free 2007 DVD and it's the best I've used yet.

How do you find the fonts, their not as good as MS are they, are you using TrueType fonts?

CoolMe, Vista will expire soon then you will come over to Linux have the most fun you have ever had with an O/S ;).
