Ok im off to Mexico fairly soon and have done a little search on this forum for my answers but cant seem to find them! Does anyone know if i need any vaccines before i go?! Has anyone here been to Cancun before?

    I'm almost certain you do need vaccines. I've been to Mexico and I have to say I didn't find it very nice though I only stayed for the day. The the cliff diving (in Acapulco) was the only nice thing I remember about it. It was obscenely hot and the people wern't nice at all.

    I'd say check with your doctor though as there isn't Malaria everywhere and it says not in the major resorts of which Cancun is the biggest.

    Cancun is massive and very american - i'm sure you won't have to interact with any actual mexicans beyond the cleaning staff and the waiters in the restaurants and none of that scary foreign food either if you don't want it. Enjoy x
